Blocked Cleaner Head

PLEASE NOTE: If your are in anyway unsure of any of the steps listed below. Please consult a qualified electrician and always remove the plug from the socket before commencing work.

1. Firstly, remove the soleplate assembly by removing the 3 crosshead screws (arrowed) and gently pulling the soleplate away from the cleaner head.

2. Check for objects wrapped around the brush bar such as loose threads, hairs, fluff etc. Then check the groove that the belt runs in, for blockages (arrowed). Quite often this channel becomes clogged with fluff and other debris stopping the air from flowing through your Dyson. Also, check the inside of the soleplate and clear any blockages.
