Kirby Vacuum

Kirby Vacuum Models

Kirby vacuum cleaners are widely regarded as some of the best in the world. Such is the high quality and durability of units, that many last for several decades, with owners opting to repair and replace worn-out parts rather than replace their trusty cleaners.

The following gives details of some of the most popular products in the range of Kirby vacuum cleaners, all of which we have a complete range of spare parts and accessories for.

Kirby Tradition Vacuum

First produced in 1979, some of these superbly built Kirby vacuums are still going strong today. This was the first Kirby model to feature disposable paper bags.

Kirby Heritage Vacuum

Produced between the years 1981-1984, the Kirby Heritage vacuum was available in either medium grey or scarlet red. The Heritage was the last Kirby vacuum to be fitted with the Sani-Emtor and now optional shake-out bag. For the first time, it introduced the Turbo Brush, Turbo Sander, and Turbo Groom accessories.

Kirby Heritage II Vacuum

From 1984-1987, Kirby produced the Heritage II vacuum, featuring the new Zippbrush feature as well as a smaller rug nozzle and new "Mini-Emtor." This was available in either black or grey with red trim.

Kirby Heritage II Legend Vacuum

The Kirby Heritage II Legend was produced from 1987-1989. This Kirby vacuum was as above, with the addition of a new design on the handle and belt.

Kirby Legend II Vacuum

The Kirby Legend II vacuum was manufactured from 1989-1990 and was similar to the Heritage II model which preceded it, with a new maroon and black colour scheme.

Kirby Generation 3 vacuum cleaners

Following a substantial redesign from the ground up, Kirby’s generation 3 vacuum cleaners introduced a new, patented, TechDrive Power Assist feature which made the vacuum much easier to move back and forth.

Kirby G6 vacuum cleaners

From the G6 Kirby vacuum onwards, the company incorporated a patented and redesigned Micron Magic HEPA filtration system.
