What Does a Service Include?

We will send a box out to your home. When it arrives simply place your Kirby in to the box surrounded by as much old newspaper, bubble wrap or packaging that you have and then either telephone us (on 01634 305021) or email us (at admin@sparesaver.com). We will then arrange for your Kirby to be collected as soon as possible. Upon receipt, your Kirby will be unpacked and allocated to one of our senior Kirby service technicians who will fully examine your Kirby prior to its complete disassembly. EVERY PART will be examined for wear & tear and signs of defects. All parts will then be cleaned, lubricated and adjusted; including but not limited to -

• Cleaning and Adjusting the Ball Bearing Brush Roll assembly.
• Cleaning and Checking both the Front & Rear Motor Armature Bearings.
• Cleaning and Checking both the Armature and commutator.
• Resetting the Slide Bracket Control Assemble (This affects the smooth operation of the transmission unit [Where fitted]).
• Checking and Washing the Outer Bag.
• Cleaning, adjusting, lubricating and resetting the Tech Drive assembly (Where fitted).
• Cleaning and lubricating the Toe Touch Control systems.
• Plus much, much more!

For a limited time only we will also fit a FREE Service Pack (value £19.99.) consisting of new carbon brushes and a headlight bulb, (if required), new disposable bag and a new drive belt. Completely 'Free of charge!'

In the unlikely event that your Kirby needs a new part our technician will telephone you to discuss exactly what part is needed, why it is needed and how much the part will be. We do not charge additional labour and all our prices are listed on our website. Furthermore, we guarantee that our prices are the cheapest available. We are so confident of this that we offer to PriceMatch any online site that offers any part at a lower cost.

(Please be wary of other online retailers who offer a cheap 'Headline' price for the service as these sites frequently recoup their losses by often overcharging for unnecessary parts.)

After completing all checks our Service Technician will reassemble & polish your Kirby leaving it sparkling and ready for another year's faithful service. We will then have it returned to you by overnight courier to your door.

In the unlikely event that you choose not to go ahead with the service (it has never happened before) we will charge your credit card with £9.99 to cover the cost of the box and sending it out to you.
