Replacing the Hose

PLEASE NOTE: Always remove the plug from the socket before commencing work.

1. Firstly remove the power cable from the rear of your DC14 and then release the wand handle from the main body.

2. Then, at the rear of the Dyson, locate the large tab at the base of the hose. Pull the tab toward the hose to release it.

3. The hose is then pulled upwards to remove the hose from the main body.

4. To release the top of the hose from the wand handle, depress the two brightly coloured buttons located on either side of the wand handle.

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
