Changing the Pre Motor Filter

PLEASE NOTE: If your are in anyway unsure of any of the steps listed below. Please consult a qualified electrician and always remove the plug from the socket before commencing work.

1. Start by detaching your Dyson's cyclone/bin assembly.

2. Then unlatch the pre motor filter cover.

3. Underneath the cover you will find the blue/yellow pre motor filter. Which can now be removed.

4. Separate the blue sponge section from the outer yellow plastic carrier. Rinse both parts in warm soapy water and only refit to the Dyson when they have been dried thoroughly.

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
