Changing the Post Motor Filter

PLEASE NOTE: If your are in anyway unsure of any of the steps listed below. Please consult a qualified electrician and always remove the plug from the socket before commencing work.

1. Start by detaching your Dyson's cyclone/bin assembly.

2. Then unlatch the pre motor filter cover.

3.Beneath the lid you will find, depending on the model, one of the following filters.


The filter pictured below is a post motor filter pad under the yellow post filter scrim.

Regardless of which filter you have, when the bottom of the filter reaches the condition of the one in the illustration below it must be changed. Please note: They must not be washed.

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
