Replacing the Pre Motor Filter

PLEASE NOTE: Always disconnect the Dyson from the mains before commencing work.

1. Start by removing the cyclone/bin assembly from the main body.

 

2. Gain access to the pre motor filter by depressing the catch on the top of the cyclone.

 

3. Remove the pre motor filter and seperate the blue sponge section from the yellow plastic carrier. Rinse both parts in warm soapy water and only refit to the Dyson when they have been dried thoroughly.

 

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
