Replacing the Post Motor Filter
PLEASE NOTE: Always disconnect the Dyson from the mains before commencing work.
1. Start by removing the cyclone/bin assembly from the main body.

2. Remove the post motor filter by twisting a two pence piece between the two semi-circular tabs at the rear of the post motor filter lid.

3. Beneath the lid you will find, depending on the model, one of the following filters.

4. Regardless of which filter you have, when the bottom of the filter reaches the condition of the one in the illustration below it must be changed. Please note: They must not be washed.

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
