Replacing the Hose

PLEASE NOTE: Always disconnect the Dyson from the mains before commencing work.

1. Firstly remove the power cable from the rear of your DC04 then release the wand handle from the main body. Then, press the uppermost brightly coloured button on the hose cuff to release the wand from the hose.

 

2. Then, at the rear of your Dyson, press in the brightly coloured button just underneath the cable hook. The hose can then be removed from the main body.

 

Reassembly is a simple matter of reversing the steps listed above.
