Replacing the Pre Motor Filter

1. Start by pushing the locating ring above the filter housing forward to release the filter housing.

 

2. Remove the filter housing by sliding it out from the main body.

 

3. After removing the pre filter from its housing it can be cleaned by first pulling the inner section out of the outer cylinder. Then rinsing the inner section with warm soapy water. The filter must be thoroughly dried before refitting to the Dyson.
