Not Picking Up through the Hose

PLEASE NOTE: If your are in anyway unsure of any of the steps listed below. Please consult a qualified electrician and always remove the plug from the socket before commencing work.

1. Start by removing the power cable from the rear of the Dyson and then detach the wand handle from the main body and allow the hose to lay on the floor. Next, at the bottom of the hose, pull in the tab at the rear of cassette unit.

2. Allow the cassette assembly to fall away from the dyson.

3. Separate the hose from the cassette by pressing the brightly coloured tab on the hose and withdrawing it from the cassette.

Next, thoroughly check the whole length of the hose and wand for blockages and clear as necessary.
